Hey Everyone - I have been listening in - my work is primarily research focused but I’m really grateful to hear how community members - including barbers! were included in the PIT research project and how Univ of San Diego connected with partner agencies to begin a really interesting research project.
whoops - I’m primarily NOT research focused - so I’m very happy to hear about these examples and will share these ideas/contacts if any of my colleagues is interested in more of a research focused project/partnership.
Thanks so much Rachel
For Rachel and everyone on the call. This community engagement research association is another good resource if you are not familiar with them and the conference will be in Minneapolis this summer.
Community Campus Partnerships for Health is another good resource
Thank you ALL!
Thanks Mario and Maria - community building focus is so important and really great to hear how you are both building trust and cultivating relationships as a primary focus of any of your research efforts. Thank you for sharing.
And thanks Green and Chris!
